Well i'm looking for some answers right now so lets get right down to the point. Well first off i'm a newbie at this so just give me a brake ok. Well anywase i have a 95 tsi and i wanted to put a aftermarket 3'' down pipe because the old down pipe was trash and it had a hole in it. So why'll i was putting on the new down pipe, one of the studs that comes out of the turbo elbow or o2 housing or whatever is called stript why'll i was trying to thighten the nut on. So know i just have one nut holding the downpipe on the turbo. So this is my problem, i want to try to fix it whit out haven to pull the turbo out. Is there anyway thats posible....... I tryd to just tighten the nut on but its just knot happening.

What you could do is replace the O2 housing with an upgraded ported one. That will eliminateSome creep problems in the future. You won't have to remove the turbo but it could be a tight fit. Pick up a manual to see how to do it. If you wanna go really cheap get a Tap and Die set. You can re-tap the O2 housing hole to a bigger stud size and drill the downpipe hole bigger if it won't fit. That would be pretty easy if you know what you're doing. Let us know what your planning on doing.

Oh yeah, and welcome to the site.:thumb:

Well i tryed taking out the o2 housing but theres not two much space to get a wrench back there. And yeah i was going to upgrade the o2 housing, but the only way to do that is by taking out the hole turbo because that o2 housing doesn't look like its going to come out easy. And i dount think a can get a tap and die set right now cause the stud is still on there nice and stript. I wonder if i can rethread the stud, because its on there really good and is not coming out unless i take out the hole turbo which is not what i want to do right now.

No. No "brake" (the word is "break") for this.

Use descriptive thread titles, use proper grammar and spelling, use a spell checker if you need to, and always use the search before starting a new topic.

Oh, and welcome to DSMtuners.
