hey all. I have a 98 Eclipse with a 2.4 that I am working on. This car is non turbo. Well here is the story behind the car. My friends ex was driving it and it just shut off on him on the freeway. I got the car now to reapair and this is what it is doing. It turns over. there is fuel and spark. I have checked all the wiring and the cam sensor and crank sensor look good. I replaced the plugs and still no start. Sometimes it sounds like it wants to start but still nothing. There is nothing aftermarket on the car. can anyone give me some advice. Thanks

thanks guys. I took out the coolant temp sensor and put it in a cup of water and still no start. I also bridged the connector for this sensor and still nothing. I am getting spark and fuel. What else could it be?

how about timing? if your cars timing is off then no dice.
