So I've decided that the newbie forum is getting boring. How in the heck do you get to be a proven member?

A really good was is to answer peoples questions, and provide pictures and links if possible. Also if you do a write up on a thing you did or installed w/ a shit load of pictures, that works like a charm. Just keep at it, it will come eventually.

I've been answering questions and puting links for people and it doesn't work. Going on 2 years now. Either people don't like to give rep or don't know of it. That is why I don't post much in this site anymore.

granted some good members might get over looked to become "proven". The Mods have a lot of threads and posts to look over but a good way to start would be to start posts in the proper location. say for instance like the site feedback section where this post should have gone.

No reason to be sarcastic. Hes just trying to help. It takes time, theres a reason for the point system and it works great. If you think you should be moved to "proven" status then post it in the rep points thread. Good luck.

One good way is to read the rules and post threads in the proper forum.
