Hello, I just tried my first pull with ECMlink. Can someone give me a little insight on my knock problem?

You really need to post the actual log. The screen shot really doesn't help at all.

Do you have a wideband?

1. Fill out your vehicle profile. Without it, we have no idea what we are looking at.

2. According to the log, you don't have a wideband, MAP sensor, or anything else being logged. (See #1 above).

3. Make sure everything is correct mechanically (base timing, BISS, BLT, etc), and all of the initial ECMLink setup is covered. (TPS adjustment, input assignments, etc). This page has links to a lot of info and guides.

4. Post a log that shows warmed up idle and light cruising. You gotta walk before you run.

You need a wide band.

Also, Log LFT Mid, LFT low and LFT High., You have to bring all LFT to 0 (as more as possible).

You shouldn't do that much Knock, You might damage your head gasket.

As soon as you see 3 or no more then 5 of knock, You should let it go, If you keep going, then be prepared to do a head gasket change sooner then you think.

Just purchased a AEM wideband and will be installing this upcoming weekend. Until than I will stay off the gas.

You don't need a wide band to adjust LTFT.

Here is a how to adjusted to "0" (as close as possible).

By the way.

To tune at wot, You do need a wide band.

Wait till you get the wide band.
