new two tone paint on my 2g (pics)

Painting took about 4 hours just gotta wetsand it one final time and buff and shine the hell outta it for a nice shine. I'll get more pictures when i get my camera back from getting fixed.
Also I dont know if the gold rims flow that well with the black on it that much anymore, i also painted my front bumper black a little while ago and so im thinking about getting the rims painted a nice gloss black with a red lip. Could anyone photoshop that for me and help me see what it looks like?

well my dad already had a sprayer, but those are about $80 from autozone.

2 cans of rattle can clear - $3.00
2 quarts Duplex glossy black sparyer paint- $60

and i already had some wetsanding stuff at home and i have no idea how much that costs

The reason your clear came out cloudy is because House of Kolor uses a totally different system of paint than most of the newer paints. Really wetsand the clear and you should get most of the cloudyness out. In the future try using the same brand paints on each other. The Duplicolor is a laquer paint while the clear is probably urethane based. Looks good though.

As said before, the mirrors need to be black.

I'll be blacking out the mirrors and up whenever it's time, I mean whenever I can afford to paint my car. I have a couple ideas of other places I plan on using the black.

the only reason i used the house of kolor becuase the duplex clear was 22$, and im broke as hell

i have a pair of carbon fiber mirros that i got for free from a friend, but i dont think theyd look right seeing as thatd be the only carbon on the car ....

yeah i agree that does look alot better, but mine was like a 20 min job and i was just kinda rushing through it, so it will most likely be re-done right and nice

oh and btw your car is effin gorgeous

I went with the 2tone, but did my hood and hatch black as well. actually the car was already black and we did the pink, yea pink. laugh if you want but it turns heads.

looks awesome i really want to do this, about how long did it take all together for the prep and taping off and paint. You said about 4 hours, but was that just painting? or everything?
