New turbo question

I recenrly received a mhi evo3 16g from a dsmtuner here. It came in the mail today and upon inspection, no shaft play, no cracks, spins freely, and is clean. Only thing im concerned about is that it came without the vband clamped on the hotside. Can i just put it on and assume its ok?.

I don't see any issue with clamping it back together. I would check with the seller for the reason it was apart though.

Definitely don't run the turbo without the clamp installed...but the previous owner likely robbed it for use on another turbo. Kinda crappy if they didn't mention that in the listing, though- most potential buyers don't just have those clamps laying around.

Yeah he was easy to work with, shipping was easy and fast. But i agree he should have said it was taken off. He did give me one but with no bolt and nut to fasten it down. Im sure i can find something to use for that.
