new 16g turbo

i just installed my new 16g turbo from ss auto chrome and now the car is smoking out the exhaust and it has a little lopy idle now when i was putting it on i had 2 leaks one from the oil feed and one from the coolent line that goes into the back of the turbo so after fixing the leaks i started the car and let it get to temp and it is still smoking pretty bad i put my hand by the exhaust and it is spitting a little oil on my hand what did i do wrong please help

Your mistake was buying from SS autochrome. And before you say money was a factor, it still means buying from SS autochrome is your mistake.

It's a cheap ebay turbo, that is most likely why it's smoking. Did you prelube the turbo before installing it?

yes i lubed the turbo i just went out to the car to see if i have anything hooked up wrong and i pulled the intake off the turbo and oil came out so i put more oil in the motor and started the car with the intake pipe off and it is leaking

Its a knock off chinese turbo. Unfortunately they are hit or miss. I wouldnt buy anything knock off that has actual moving parts, eg: turbos, afpr, bov, wastegates etc.. When buying cheap ebay try to stick to things like exhausts, pipes, no moving/internal parts.

Where are you feeding the turbo from? Is there any kinks in the oil drain and was RTV used on the oil drain flanges (which is a no no)?? If you have proper drainage and pressure i dont see oil blowing out as badly as you say. The CHRA is flooded with oil so its blowimg out the seals. But as already stated, it was not the best of choices for a 16g.

^ what he said is the best advice. you defiantly have too much oil pressure coming into the turbo( or as a result of it not leaving properly, or thats a bunk turbo from the factory with bad seals. sorry man!
