can I still use the stock air cooler on my 96 talon with a new 340hp turbo?

What do you mean by air cooler? A Intercooler? If that's what you mean it's good for 400 though I would upgrade, what turbo are you wanting to run?

yeah sorry I meant intecooler I was going to install a TD05 16G turbo.

maybe you can help me with my high oil pressure problem I had a new oversized crank and bearigs installed and the head rebuilt and I keep spraying oil out of my oil cap or dipstick and I have blown the seal for the turbos oil adapter where the oil filter is twice. ty

I was looking at a turbo on ebay. I have a stock gauge when I idle it seems to be ok but when I use full power it will go all the way up and spray oil out. also when im going 70 mph on the freeway its almost at high.

Don't buy a turbo off eBay.
Install a real oil pressure gauge.
Do a compression test.
Replace your PCV valve (with an OEM replacement, not a parts store deal).

If your oil pressure really is high, and your compression is fine, and your PCV works, do you have balance shafts and/or oil squirters still in?

this might sound stupid but I dont know what you mean by squiters what are the oil squitters? and I will try that new pcv and check with the engine builder if he has the balance shafts in ty.

Ask him about the oil squirters too. They literally squirt oil at the pistons. If the shafts AND squirters are removed you'll have to port the oil filter housing relief to solve your high oil pressure, which you don't actually know if you have yet because you need a gauge.

Search the classifieds on here for a good deal on a turbo. Also the stock oil press unit is pretty much useless. Those are in the classifieds all the time as well.
