new to dsm turbos

hey every one im kinda new to the dsm world and turbos but i have been doing some resurch im curently going to college for auto tech classes and i just got a 95 egale talon tsi awd as a project car for school and im looking to make 500 hp and i was hoping if some one could tell me if i can make it to this goal with these parts that im looking at and money is not an problem hears the list Wiseco Pistons 8.3:1, eagle rods, arp rod/main/head bolts and studs, clevite main and rod bearings, hks 272 cams,crower valve springs and retainers, ss valves 1mm over, balance shaft eliminater kit, 3g lifters, evo16g big turbo, fmic, boost controler, 3 inch custume exahst, o2 dump, Greddy 2G Type-RS BOV or 1g bov crushed, Walbro 255 LPH Fuel Pump high presser, 950/1000 cc injectors, fuel pressuer ragulater and fuel rail, dsmlink and im also thinking water/methonal injection. and i think thats about it if you think im missing any thing just let me know any help would be awesome

Toss the Evo 16g out the window and start thinkin of a 35r variant...

Before someone says "you can make 500hp w/16g"... it would take too much to do so, not to mention you'll be pushing that turbo beyond its limits..

35r turbo's are great for spool/power..

Personally i like those new PTE 6262

But if all your looking for is 500awhp... the FP 3052 turbo is awsome

welcome to the dsm game. umm sounds like a good list. get the new walbro 255 the high flow one same. umm e316g will not flow enough to support 500whp. get the gt35r or something similar. im not very "big" turbo savvy so you can check this out DSM Dyno Challenge - Big Turbo . ppl who make power in the ball park of where you wanna be and basically there set up. o yea you should get a 3inch turbo back set up.

go with the holeset hx 35 it has all the bolt on stuff available call slowboy racing they can help you and give you some true numbers

I honestly think the FP 3052 is your best bet ..

People have made anywhere from 525-580 with this turbo at 30-32psi no spray

But if your more on "Budget"... iv'e heard good things about those Holsets (i dont have any expierence with them so cant put any input)

theres a DSMer on here called brianawd i think and he has the 3052 and put down 538AWHP! FP is known for puuting up some really good numbers! im going for the same goal so i'll see ya around

i would go with a diffrent bov , i have heard the greedy type r-s will leak after 25 or so psi (correct me if i am wrong!) maybe a tial or something like that.

you can never go wrong with TIAL! and yes the greddy's do tend to leak which sucks b/c they have "pretty" sounds
