Hey guys,
About a two three months ago I bought myself a 2g 1995 talon tsi. This is the first dsm i've owned and first turbo car i've owned. Now I got the car for 800 buck but... the engine was blown. So me and my dad swapped the engine and we got a check engine light. So the car seems to hold back on launches it just doesn't feel like its accelerating when I step on the gas pedal at 30%. we ran a diagnostic with a computer and it said that I had misfire in my third cylinder and fuel solenoid problems. the mods that were done on the car :
-16 G turbo
-aeromotive fuel pressure regulator
-front mount
-fuel pump (dont know what kind)
-bigger injectors (again don't know what kind)
-turbosmart boost controller (not installed just sitting there)
-Apexi neo computer (for fuel mixture I think)
So what could the problems be? I'm planning on cranking up the boost but not until I can turn off the check engine light.
