New Struts.. Gr2 KYB

Im going to be installing KYB GR2 struts soon in my talon and I was wondering can you use the previous mounting brackets? or do you have to purchase new ones? and if so.. where do you get new brackets..

when i instaled them on my 2g gst they went right up to the old ones. they should go right on man.

They will bolt right up. As long as you order ones for your car Also check your upper strut tower plates to make sure there not rusted to bad, when changing mine I had to buy brand new ones from the dealer and pay 100 bucks for them. But its better than haveing a strut come into your trunk good luck its easier than you think

Make sure you replace the yellow dampners, i did not when i installed my new gr-2's and have a bang in the suspension when i accelerate hard and hit a bump. The mechanic at the dealer told if they are worn this is what will happen, they only cost a few dollars from the dealer.

Just went on line and created an account and order my stuff that way, Mike has always had the best prices. I have a dealership 1/4 mile from my house and am very good friends with the parts manager and he cannot match their prices.
