thoughts about KYB GR2 struts and Tokico lowering springs

just wondering what u guys thought about the KYB GR2 struts and Tokico lowering springs. Just wonderin how stiff they ride and how much the springs lower the car, and if i need to pick up a camber correction kit with them. and how long do you have to be a member to post in the 420a Handling Tech section, or do i have to have a certain amount of posts or somethin?

You generally do not want to use KYB GR-2's with lowering springs, they are essentially a stock replacement strut, not designed to be used in conjunction with lowering springs. Tokico springs lower the car 1.5 in, and yes, you should get a camber kit. Anytime you lower a car you should get a camber kit. If you are set on getting the Tokico springs, you would be better off getting either the Tokico HP's or Illuminas as a kit.

well someone is selling them already together for 150 bux. and i was just wonderin about them. but since they arent a good pair what setup do u guys recommend?

i have gr-2's all the way around mine and i think they are great but thats the only kind i have had on this car...other than the stock ones

i had gr2's on my car for 2 years with skunk2 coilovers and i think it's given me chronic back problems. . how low you go affects the ride and i had mine ALL THE WAY DOWN BABY!! haha. but yeah..they're no better than stock in my opinion. that's why i opted for the tein ss.
