My old setup was a bust and sold everything in my last thread.

This is my new setup in the mail now:

Fuel:
1000cc injectors
Walbro 255
(for now stock lines)

Turbo:
GT35r w/ custom downpipe

Exhaust:
Dark Performance manifold with Tial 38mm WG recirculated
Apexi 3'' Exhaust

Intake:
FP 4'' intake
1g intake manifold

Tuning:
DSMLINK V2

Misc.
SSAC 2.5' FMIC
Tial BOV
boost/trans temp/oil temp gauges
Hallman MBC
Apexi TT

This is all on a freshly rebuilt stock 6bolt motor for now. I plan on upgrading internals soon. Stock rebuilt automatic trans as well.

I have one fan hooked up already and wired with the accessary and the ignition so its on all the time I just don't know where to mount the other one. I might have to bite the bullet and get rid of the AC system. The fmic is so big it blocks the fan if I mount it behind it but infront of the AC core.

ps doug I'm waitin on my aem wb that should be here asap so I can turn boost up and log

Hmmm. I made 550whp on a walbro 255 on stock fuel lines and trapped 133mph with no issues.

I'd be happy with those numbers, :) I just found out my front o2 is dead so gotta fix that before tuning. Once I get a descent tune I plan on taking it to get professioally tuned.

I would be happy with those numbers too!

gsxrtalon - what kind of fuel pump or pumps are you running or planning on running? I have a single Walbro right now as well, but was looking at doing a second inline so I can try for a little more power.

Right now I just plan on runnin my walbro 255 and see what I can get but if I have problems or I'm unhappy with my numbers Ill go with dual walbros intank, probably or at first Ill rewire my single 255 and go from there.

Well I decide to place my 2nd mishimoto slim fan behind the IC core and in front of the AC core, tied through the AC core and Radiator pulling air. My only concern is the warm air being absorbed into the FMIC. I also had to get rid of the power steering cooler hardlines that ran in front of the AC core for the fan to actually fit. I simply removed the hardlines and ran about a 10 in. piece of hose to replace them but much shorter. Ill post pics of this soon. Hopefully this will take care of my temp problems.

I def. want to see pics on this because I'm just now starting to think about what I'm going to do with the radiator and fans.

Why did you decide on the Mishimoto fans? What radiator you using?

I will post fan pics soon.

I simple got a good deal on the fan from MAP plus I've read good things about mishimoto so we will see. I still have the stock radiator but thinking of the mishimoto or fluidyne later.
I'm hopein to get a descent tune myself then haul the car to AMS before the 21st

I got the other fan in and the aem wb. The car starts and idles pretty good and the a/f is around 15-15.6 right around 1200rpm then the a/f goes unreadable 18plus once idle drops to 850 like it was chipped for.......

Ya I changed the props for the injectors to 1000cc even tho I have 1050's. I also set the global to -55 and deadtime to 330. It idles good now and a/f is reading right. I just want to make sure I'm not forgettin anything important before I gett too carried away with boost.

problems now is that I am getting as much as 7 counts of knock at vaccum around 2700prms and can't figure out why. I can't build boost due to the knock.

Wow this is bringing this thread from the dead but I forgot I even started it. LOL.
So basically over the last couple months Ive got things worked out as far as my tuning and knock issues. My problem with my knock was that my base timing wasnt at 5* and I had to make the proper base tune adjustments with TPS and everything.

Over the past couple months I have reached 20psi with this setup and flowing 38lb/min. I switched to e85 and have basically been knock free since. I just upgraded my WG spring and added a gm 3.3bar map to allow me to calibrate my MAF better and view real-time boost. I plan on fixing some boost leaks by this weekend and doing some more logs and seeing what is going on and if I can turn the boost up to 23-25psi. I will keep updated.
