Finally got some new rims and rubber put on.. I cant say enough about the Michelin Pilot Super Sports, i've tried a LOT of tires and nothing comes even close. A gigantic improvement in the overall feel of the car. Surprisingly the biggest change was in steering response, little to no more understeer, and theres much less "slop" in the steering wheel. Not to mention i cant even get these tires to make a sound, and they just grip around any corner at any speed. Its been wet here since i had them, can't even imagine their dry handling.

IF you have been thinking about upgrading tires, seriously look no further. I cant believe how shitty the Kuhmo Ecstas are after switching to the Michelins, even though they are terrible tire to begin with. In a few weeks i will be dropping the car on my DG Koni set, which should also help!

Heres a quick photo-lapse of when i got the car off the lot a year and a half ago, to my last set of my rims, to my current setup.

:thumb: Awesome summer tires, corner like a champ!

I have these tires on my blown vette. f***in awesome at handling, still doesn't put down my power on the street though. I've had them on my car for three years now granted I don't daily it but 11k miles later still have plenty of tread. Just not as responsive no dry rot but don't handle like they used to.

The super Sports are good tires, but i like Nitto's. Have a set of Neo-Gens on my non DSM, and a set of Motivos on the Gsx. Although the Motivos flat spot if the car sits for any period of time :|. When I get a set of summer rims im going with the NT05.
