these are some of the pictures i was able to take. pretty much have the whole front part of the engine apart at the moment "due to exhaust leaks the PO never fixed" i took the turbo off and noticed there was a broken bolt at the bottom. all the treads are shot so now im guna drill all of the threads out at weld in studs, so maybe that will help me out alil

Nice looking setup! This reminds me of this turbo i picked up a while back.... Ebay 50 trim major shaft play, and the o2 housing didnt align with it so the guy mcjobbed a shotty weld job. Yours seems like a pretty standard extraction and thread cleaning process. Gl those high strength bolts are a pita

thanks bro. And yea them bolts are a bi*** to drill through. I tried even heatng it with an acetelyne torch but it didnt help any...

I don't know if I'd recommend welding the studs in, but rather drilling and tapping to a larger stud, or even using a helicoil.

Thats a nice looking setup. I like the short route piping for your fmic.

:thumb: this is how it looked before i took it apart

I already tried that. Stm did the helicoils and they came out like shit so that's pretty much my last potion. I have 7yrs welding experience so hopefully it'll work. If not then Im guna have to buy a new one.

And I noticed that the oil line going to the turbo was kinked completly closed so the hx35 wasn't getting oil at all
