New motor but no boost

I just dropped my rebuilt motor in. But Now I have no boost. NOTHING even the stock gauge isnt showing anything. I did notice some oil leakage from the top banjo bolt holding the oil that goes to the head. Any ideas why the hell this is. The turbo have no shaft play. thanx

Make sure your waste gate acctuator is connected, also check your vacuum lines. Can you hear the turbo spooling??

I have a turbo xs MBC hooked up accordingly to the way defiant showd in his picture. I can hear the turbo spooling.

Check out the Engine Primer as well. They have the MBC hooked up leaving the stock solenoid hooked up as well. Is your MBC all the way shut, or a pinched hose? Did you also check that the wastegate actuator arm was hooked up?

Does the boost gauge just sit at 0? If not, tell us more like idle reading .....etc.

Did you use new crush washers?

Was defiant talking specifically about a Turbo XS mbc? If not, you probably got it reversed.

If you have not performed a boost leak test yet since the rebuilt, you probably have leaks but leaks alone should not cause 0 boost so I suspect it's probably combination of many things.

He's talking about the actuator arm which connects to the wastegate flapper.
