I have a couple question please I don’t get it. Well here goes I have no tuning device as of know I just found a gm maf that I been looking for to vent my bov. What I thought I knew about it is different so how do I properly vent my bov I get a gm maf and a translator, wires it up and done? If it is this way how do I wire it up? I found out on here that it won’t work if I don’t have a way to tune it who it right? Second question I got money on my hand and im on my search for an intercooler. I have a 14b what size intercooler? Piping? (That won’t affect performance) I want to make around 350hp max for know. Only thing is that I want a tall intercooler not the short ones that cover the hole in the 2g, want to keep stock fog light, and budget is $250? Thanks for the help

getting a maft and gm maf just to vent your BOV was a waste of money, you'll need to properly set up the maft to run correctly.

14b you don't even need a front mount, and won't get you to that 350hp you want...and $250 will get you maybe 1/2 the cost of JUST the intercooler, no piping.



From the looks of it, you mostly want the LOOK and not performance....loud BOV vent, very visible FMIC....that's a very bad route to go down...

I have not gotten a gm maf and translator im only asking how to set it up because I was thinking of getting the sound mostly right about that. For the fmic I’m only asking what to get because the girlfriend won’t get off my back of getting one because I have been looking for one. I am planning to get a 16g or a evo 3 next month.

you dont need DSMLink you have a 99 car and it has a black flashable ECU in it look at this site ---> ceddy.us and learn as much as you can! Ceddy works good!

not all cars need flashed to run the BOV that you want. i have a 97 GST with a HKS one installed and works just fine. If you install the BOV and when you go to stop or you let off the gas and your car wants to stall thats how you know you need the MAF or speed density. I will be installing speed density on it but haven't yet. love the sound a good BOV makes.
