Well today i installed a uicp with a 1g bov. I took it for a test drive and really couldnt tell a bit of difference. Should I have been able to see some difference? I also bought a Boost guage but ran out of time today to install. It kinda seems like it is going to be a bi*** to run the ruuber hose and electrical wire down to where i can stab them through the fire wall. Im gonna be installing it into a piller pod any ideas on how to easaly get those wires and hose down to were i can work with them?

Well any help or info would be greatly accepted.

Thank in advance
Jason

you shouldnt really notice a power difference with just a uicp and a new bov...it should be a little louder though

the uicp and the bov will be of great help when you start crankin the boost up

I noticed a good difference when I first put on a uicp but before I did that I already had full exhaust, and intake and all the free mods. I used a wire coat hanger to run the wires and hose down from the pillar through the dash down to where the pedals are. Then I just cut a hole in the steering boot on the fire wall and pushed the hose through no big deal. The hardest part was feeding them down with the coat hanger.

did pretty much the same thing... had to get more wiring though because what they give you is useless if you plan to mount it on the pillar. I already had a hole in my firewall above the steering column, it was put there by the previous owner. I also had a 3" catback, dejontool 2 3/4' intake before this mod. But along with the UICP I got the S pipe and on the same day I installed the piping, I cleaned out my intercooler. It's hard for me to tell what the difference came from but it did seem more responsive and held boost better.

You don't need to run the wiring for the boost gauge through the boot, You can tap in to the wiring that adjusts the lighting for your dashes. Not only do you get light for your backing of the boost gauges but when you turn the knob, it gets dimmer with the rest of the gagues.:thumb:

However you do need to run the hose through the steering column boot.

Well I guess my next best mod for the money would be the exuast? I have the K&N FIPK kit all the free mods have been done and now the uicp with 1g bov. Soon the boost guage will be in too im gonna get differtn hose because the stuff that came with it kinks and collapses really easy. So i will just fish it down with a hanger it is all described prety good on this page i found last night
