How difficult is it to install? Are there any walk-throughs (I didn't see any on vfaq). The one in the tech articles section is cool, but I usually need pics.

Let's hear from those who have swapped injectors.

Thanks,
Steve

1. disconnect the battery

2. Make sure you release the fuel pressure so fuel doesnt spray everywhere. If the car has been sitting for awhile it probably wont have any.

3. unbolt the three bolts holding the fuel rail to the head. After you remove the bolts, gently pull up on the rail

4. Be careful not to lose the 3 black plastic spacers that rest between the head and the fuel rail.

5. Pull the old injectors out, and make sure you notice if the o-rings at the bottom are still connected to the injector. Sometimes they are, and sometimes they are stuck in the head. PULL THE O-RINGS OUT AND REPLACE THEM. they should already come with the injectors. i got mine from rre when i bought my denso's.
6. then seat everything n put the rail back in.

I guess that sounds easy enough. I replaced my clutch and flywheel on my own, I guess this shouldn't be too difficult.

Thanks,
Steve
