I don't know if anybody on here has heard about this yet. My mechanic just told me about it after going to a convention in Vegas. It's a new fuel controller aimed specifically at tuning our N/T w/Turbo Cars. Although there are a few features such as MAF that our cars don't use, I am still interested to see if anybody has heard about these or used them.

Product Description:

The average street car tuner today faces a dilemma. What do you do when you add a stroker kit, supercharger or turbocharger to a modern streetcar? You want to keep all of the amenities offered by the car and you expect performance at least as good as the stock systems. What do you do with electronic throttle? How do you tune it? Solutions do exist but they are incomplete, erratic, require disabling of critical vehicle functions or cost far too much. The XFC is the solution. Designed for the modified street car, a properly tuned XFC can deliver the added fuel required by your high performance parts while keeping your stock powertrain management systems functioning as if no changes had occurred. Competing units offer MAF skew or O2 skew but have severe limitations. Many new vehicles learn to eliminate the changes caused by MAF skew devices through O2 feedback. Competing O2 skew systems cause the vehicle to enter open loop but can often cause vehicles to trigger trouble codes and enter a debilitating limp or failsafe mode. Fuel pump control systems exist but operate on insufficient information. Fuel pump control based on too little information forms a dangerous situation in which a vehicle can be easily provided with far too much or too little fuel based on dynamic weather, battery and fuel delivery system conditions.

meh...just looks like a safc w/o the cool display LOL, probably wouldn't be worthwhile on our cars, especially considering I'd rather have megasquirt in that price range

i don't think that will work for our cars. that changes the maf to make your car add/subtract fuel. guess what, we don't have a maf. i guess you could use it to change the map instead but then you have like xmaster said (turbo bro :thumb: ) a safc. this would still work but it would also advance timing. (bad for turbo cars) and why pay 500 for half assed fuel control. with msns you get it all. if you get it to work let us know.

it seems that every piggyback fuel controller made sucks for our cars. people hyped up the emanage and it has many problems. i have yet to hear from bigrand about his emanage adventures. if anyone can get it to work he and his shop can. we will just have to see.

as for me i will be squiting in a few months.

Yeah I'm working on it, but as you know no one has figured out the whole ignition timing with the emange on our cars, so I just opted to go with the msd dis-2 "Programable" box. A lil pricy and not really nessecary but it should be fun.

I did run into somebody locally who's got it on his 2gnt, and he's got it working at around 16psi with some issues, but I had him come to the shop I'm at and we talked it out with my mechanic so he could have it down before I do. He's on the forums. Definatly on 2gnt. (Xcler) or something like that. I don't want to give out his name less he says its okay.
