New engine...starts, throws the cel and dies!

Put a completely new 93 longblock into my 93 awd 5spd talon. The car starts after sitting for a long time n runs for a good minute or two, then throws the check engine light and dies. After that it sometimes starts, usually just cranks and cranks, but still does the samething. The check engine flickers when the key is on and my stock boost gauge sits at -7 instead of 0. I always have fuel pressure so its like the spark cuts out. theres two plugs that arent plugged in behind the intake that have pink inlets i cant figure them out. could it be the ecu or cas, wheres the knock sensor...?

how does it die, does it throw any kind of smokes, maybe theres a fuel problem.

hmm can you check the ecu you code with it in the on position? hopefully that'll help narrow it down. thats weird your boost is at -7 and not 0, not sure what to make of it.

Maybe your MAF is unplugged....

My maf is plugged in, theres no smoke or anything it just dies...i cant check any codes ### i dont have a reader.
