last night i figured i would pull my old t04e 57 trim turbo off the shelf and noticed that the compressor wheel fins were all broken and chipped, something i didn't realize when i pulled it. I also noticed the knock off type s bov i used to run was missing the bottom gasket so ill bet it found its way to the wheel and caused the damage... anyhow to my question, i do realize this is an old turbo but i figure why not get a new wheel and have it as a backup turbo. Im kind of curious what options i have, i found some compressor wheels with the same size specs (75mm ex/56.6mm in/37.5mm height/ 6.33mm bore) as the 57 wheel but say they are for different turbos, do many turbos really use the same exact wheel? the one in the link says its for a gerrett but is the same size..is that going to work?

Definitely post photos if you can- there weren't many of these 57-trims offered by Bullseye, I just want to make sure we're on the same page.

BEP had a way of mixing-and-matching parts between Garrett and Borg T04B and T04E series turbos back in the day...as long as you're sure the wheels are the correct spec, you should be just fine.

Here is a picture of the comp wheel out and of the turbo before i took it apart... i didnt have a caliper on me to get exact measurements but it looked spot on with a steel rule...i will double check with a caliper though before i buy anything. Now am i stuck with what ive got or is there any other comp wheels i can stuff in there? The thing spools like a turd but has great top end power so its worth the 55 bucks for a new wheel even if it sits on the shelf
