I just installed a new OEM clutch master cylinder and I bled it a bunch and i CAN NOT build any pressure at all. The pedal will stick to the floor unless i manually pull it back up. If anybody has any ideas please post any input. Thanks much.

When you installed the new master, did you have the rod threaded all the way out? Try threading it the opposite way. If the system isn't bled all the way, what i think works best for a bleeding method is the gravity way. Loosen up the bleeder valve on the slave and on the master reservoir, put your mouth on it and blow to speed up the fluid travel and that always works the best for me to get the air out of the system?? Unless you get that bleeding gun or pressure bleeder kit? And when I said put your mouth on the reservoir and blow, I meant that in the most non-gayest way possible:sneaky:? LOL..

Good luck

Haha, just realized you dont live to far away from me? Im in Wausau.. Nice Talon by the way.

If you have it adjusted right already after the install. It might not be your master nor slave. If you are having problem with the pedal after certain fixes. It might be throw out bearing related.

If the fluid in the reservoir is not moving at all when you push the clutch pedal down a number of times, then you need to adjust the rod from the master to the clutch. Thread it OUT (counter clockwise) and then tighten the locking nut. Push in the clutch a few times and see if the reservoir fluid level gets lower.

I had the same issue when I replaced my master and slave. Once I adjusted the rod the fluid started going and I built up pressure. I highly recommend spending $15 and getting a speed bleeder valve for the slave. It makes bleeding the clutch much quicker and easier and you don't need 2 people.

Well i ended up getting it to bleed correctly after using the method of pushing in the slave cylinder rod. For the first day it shifted smooth as can be, went in and out of gear fine. Since then it is giving me the same problem i had where it wouldnt want to go into gear nearly as easy. Should i bleed it again?
