New Clutch & Flywheel

Mines gone...

Time for a new one that can hold the 60 trim... Local is South Bend Clutch, a company that makes custom clutchs, some of you guys may have heard of them they are a pretty good sized comapny... anyways, they have a DXD clutch and a light weight fly wheel for me for a pretty good price... how much would you guys pay for those with install or what should I be looking to pay? Do I need the fly wheel??

weather or not you need a flywheel depends on the condition of yours and if it can be resurfaced. other wise, if ya got the moneyto blow on a lighter one then go for it.

I would always replace the flywheel on a burnt out clutch. Chances are you already have some heat warping on that thing anyway. Why take the chance on a worn clutch when you can just get a lightweight on and fell alot better about the setup. It would suck to have to get a new flywheel halfway through the life of your NEW clutch.

That is just what I would and did do when I went with the 2600. I got the lighten flywheel!!
