GOT A NEW CLUTCH....Flywheel ?

so i got a new spec stage 3 clutch kit....and it says i should resurface my flywheels since im not gettin a new one and its still the stock flywheel.....so i have a ?.........whats this "stepped" flywheel thing...(im new to drivetrain) and what would u do in my situation? if resurfacing is my only option then how much does that usually cost?

any help on any of those ?'s is appreciated

Resurfacing the flywheel on a clutch install is critical to proper clutch operation. It is not expensive, but it should definitley be dont correctly. This link should be all you need. Right at the top under "Flywheel Step"

The step height refers to the distance between the clutch mounting surface and the friction surface on the flywheel. The Spec clutch you have recommends a .610" step height.
