So i just got a new clutch installed with a fidanza flywheel... it worked fine but now only a day later its acting up.
What happens is I will shift into any gear (the lower gear the worse it sounds) and when i stop pushing the accelerator its makes this weird grinding sound, and goes away after a few seconds... if i push on the accelerator it instantly goes away but then i let off and the really rough noise comes back... doesnt feel like its slipping or something i just dont know help?? What do you think could be happening?
I'm calling the shop that did the install tomorrow morning to have them look at it but if i have some suggestions as to what it might be to give them that would be great...:confused:

Ok guys... I just got word from the shop that the clutch needed an adjustment and that my rear differential was out of fluid so they filled it. He said that the noise was mostly gone but there is some play in my transfer case... so now im going to be paying $250 to have that torn apart and it might possibly need a rebuild.

But as for the noise sounded like it was just because of the clutch needing to be adjusted and the rear differential being out of fluid.

Did they have a recall on the t-case?? I now they make a rebuild kit for them but I would make sure thats the problem before you fork out the cash.. Might even want to think about doing it yourself, the t-case is super easy to pull off.
