Just got done installing my new 3" downpipe/test pipe and the car definately woke up! It's a noticable difference, but here's the new issue. I'm not too worried because I know it's nothing major, and the car runs GREAT, but I'd like to know my next step...

When I hit it and try to shift at redline as I've done before without a problem, the car basically stops accelerating just before redline and sounds like it wants to backfire...doesn't want to pull to 7k like it used to. Only thing that's changed is the exhaust is now catless. It still has the rear 02 sensor in place too, if that helps. Is this the infamous "fuel cut" I keep hearing about??

My power setup too, just in case...
97 awd turbo talon, evolll 16g(formerly boosted to 10psi, now goes to 11.5-12), evolll ported manifold/02 housng, injen intake, XS power fmic, STOCK fuel system, 1g bov(recirculated), 2.75" rear 1/3 of the exhasut, now 3" stainless downpipe/test-pipe
