All we need is a nice lip kit that comes with lower hanging sides. I've been looking at the front lips which look really ncie from the front, but it just looks dumb from the side when the car isn't even all the way around. We need a nice front lip and a rear lip along with the oem look sides that just hang lower. Nobody wants a huge ricey front bumper here. ( At least 99% of the turbo guys don't )

yea thats what front end it is, im sure he was talkin about the widebody part of it though. its the nsx widebody kit or whatever and you can use whatever front end.


and as far as bolt on converstions :thumbdown everyone and their mom will now be rocking s15 heads and supra tails, there is nothing wrong with someone having it when its done right, but making a "bolt on" part is stupid IMO. it just like slaps the people across the face that took a lot of their time to CUSTOMIZE their car. if a new kit is made, it should be made to directly use 2g eclipse parts, if someone wants to do a converstion, let them do it the right way.

Its custom and i did it, its taken me over 40 hrs and still isnt finished .
This is the concept but its 3 pieces and is removable

There will be a kit if everything goes thru correct. The prototype is mine and its almost done , about another week to go. Its the same concept as above but its a 3 piece kit . The middle and to end pieces. All' that you will have to do is paint it , buy some supra tails and install. I have pics but they wont load . I can email you a rough pic.

I dont usually go for kits. Only kits that match a car well, or better than stock. What you created is a winner. . . . I would buy it in a heartbeat if it were made. . . . .

The 2G needs a real radiator vent on top of its mouth for the FMIC. With an FMIC installed, the radiator always gets blocked.

The EVO VIII has one and it prevents overheating.

i would rather the evo 9 center thingy,... its the same, except without the white part that holds the mitsu emblem up, the mitsu emblem is just hanging there... also i happen to own a 1g so either way it is irrelivent to me...

it breaks my heart that it was even stated that there was more of an interest in a new kit for the 1g, but they would still make the 2g... I suppose the argument could be made that 1g guys don't put kits on their cars, but there's a reason for that... THERE'S ONLY 2 or 3!!!! And they're not even that great. Meanwhile there are 2,347,635,402 kits for the 2gs... (yes, that is an actual figure ) Oh well, this thread was started a year ago.. has anything even been done with it?

i agree with endless, there need to be more kits of the 1g...there are about 3 for the 1gb and 1 or 2 for the 1ga...i wont put a kit on my car bc they all put the car on the ground before dropping it...with the hills around here? f*ck that. boosted's evo 8/2g bumper looks nice, but what about some love for the 1g's?

I remember a thread about a stillen bumper that had been modified and looked really good. I'll try to dig it up, but if someone gets to it first that would be great. It was really clean and looked close to the regular 2g bumper.

i myself find that the only body kit i like on a car is a black widow on a 99-04 stang. some people say it wont look right, but i photoshopped the bw front bumper off a mustang and got the angles right and filled in the gaps, and it looked pretty dam good to me, if i knew how to get the colors to match ida posted it. its a better look thatn the misangled played out blitz, and the hugely open drift front that can house 3 huge fmic's.

if they were to make a black widow kit for a 2g id definately think about going kitted. since i could have a "black widow spyder" and make some badass looking black on chrome scheme with red anodized accents(much like the Black Widow Bike that OCC built). im actually thinking on getting the kit for a stang in fiberglass, and just modifying it to work on the dsm front(since i can fiberglass). and id have a one-off spyder.
