2G New BC Cams Installed, Does This Look right?

I just finished installing a set of BC 101 cams in my 2G head.

Does this look right?

Some of the rockers don’t appear to be centered on the cam lobes, as I was expecting them to be. The entirety of the rocker surface is contacting the lobes, but they’re just not centered.

I followed the cam installation procedure in the Factory Service Manual exactly.

I know BC stuff doesn’t have the best reputation. Is this possibly due to the cams just not being of the best quality?

The cams will shift a few thou to a new position as you run the engine. With that being said, as long as you have full contact with the rocker roller and the camshaft lobe, it's nothing to worry about. It's actually typical for aftermarket camshafts, or any cams that didn't come factory in your cylinder head. They're all machined slightly differently and could easily be a few thou off, but full contact is what matters. It seems you have that and you likely don't have enough movement to ruin anything. Hell even original cams will walk a little bit off center. Not a problem though.
