Need to replace rear shocks, replace mount at same time?

I want to get another set of Koni Yellow, but should I replace the mount and bushings too? Car has about 190,000 miles.

Might as well while you have it apart. I had a rear upper mount fail while driving and it was not very fun experience.

Dang, I'll probably go with the AGX's and get their whole bearing kit too.

If you already had Koni Yellow's, AGX's will be a step backwards if your concerned at all with how the car handles.

Just inspect the mount, if it is rusty, replace it. If not than don't. It will be pretty obvious from the top. There is no bearing or anything, just a metal piece with studs. I would of coarse replace the bushings.

When you look at the shock body you will notice there are two locations that will receive the circlip/snap ring. The lower most of which seems to lower the car approximately one inch.
Is that what you mean?

Yes, I read about it some where but I had a shop do the install. I would like my car a bit higher so I wonder if the used the lower snap ring... Do you know if the fronts and rear have multiple locations?

Not sure if I want to have them machined. I don't know anyone to perform the process. I wonder if I install the new shocks with the stock springs if it will be lower then stock spring with stock struts? I might just get new shocks for the front too and use factory OEM springs...?
