need to identify this connector

I took out all the electrical in my car and the label fell off this connector. It goes in the engine compartment, not far from the firewall.

The maf has been accounted for. I'm thinking it's ABS OR A/C but I want to be sure before I chop it.

Looks exactly like the wiring harness side of the plug for the starter. I'm like 95% sure.

Are you just guessing? My cruise control has 4 wires and none of them are those colors.

It looks like the one for the CC. I can check mine later to make sure though.

I was doing some more searching and the starter plug actually had 4 wires going too it, even though 3 of them are the came colors... Close but I think I'm going to have to retract my advice.

It looks like the cruise control plug, or the starter.

OK, figured out what's going on here, the black/yellow wraps back into the connector. I had looked at the connector again and noticed it had 4 at the plug and 3 coming out, dunno wtf is going on there. The connector you have is indeed the same one, which I assume it's the starter connector you were talking about.

if thats the only connector that you cant identify when you put everything back. once you see the other missing end problem solved

That confirms it! I just cut open my spare harness and it does the same thing. It is the starter connector, 100% sure now.

I was worried at first because these are my favorite questions to answer because, as you can see, most people just guess but I am very familiar with the 1g engine harness and can usually identify them right away. Glad I was right!
