Need to finish A/T to M/T swap. HELP!

Greetings, today i just finished my tranny swap using this as my guide:

I did everything he said and everything went fine until startup...

it seems the starter doesnt go in the flywheel as much as it should. it skips a teeth or to sometimes. Its skips after 3 seconds or so. But that should be more than enough time to start the engine. how can i fix the starter problem and what do you think i should do to make it start??? Thanks in advance guys

Well if you really want to test drive it..i would suggest push starting it..i dont know about the electric start..Are all the components OEM?

yup everything was swaped of a m/t gst. i also noted there was no fuel psi when starting it. is this normal??

Not sure if its same for 2g, but when i swapped my 1g, i retained the auto starter but had to add a few shims/washers between the bellhousing and starter. Just be careful not to drop them in the clutch area,
