Looks like some kinda of temp sensor, I dont think it is stock though, I am assuming it is aftermarket since there is an adapter?

If u had a better picture it would be easier to tell. Looks kike a coolant temp sensor though.

It's my brother's car, But it's got boost gauge, aem wideband, Oil pressure, and it had an EGT gauge but was taken out.

Yes it does. I'm waiting to get my camera back from a friend then I'll take a better picture of it.

Does it thread into the thermostat housing? Looks close to the size of the temp sensor and since there is thread sealant on there makes me think it's home once was the thermosat housing.

Check and see if a wire is connected to whatever is threaded in there now.

im thinking thats the sensor that cuts the a/c off if the car overheats.. i believe its next to the temp sensor in the thermostat housing! I had the same issue trying to figure what its was, because i was looking to replace all those sensors during my rebuild and AutoZone couldn't tell me BULL they kept telling me it was a TempSensor that wasn't for my car! but its in the repair book!

Anyways.. thats my opinion on what it might be! A/C cutoff sensor!

I thought the one for the fans was at the bottom of the radiator and on the thermostat housing,the "T" plug is for the ECU and the single pin is for the dash gauge...
