1G Need some tire recommendations

I picked up some EVO 8 wheels for my 1G dsm and I need some tire help. I need something that is going to handle well and is pretty sticky for some spirited road driving and canyon carving. Longevity isn't a concern as these will only be for summer playtime use.

Also, will my stock lugs work with these wheels or do I need special ones?

And what's the right size so I'm closest to the stock overall wheel/tire diameter?

Dunlop Direzza Star-Spec or Nitto NTO5. My 2 favorite tires for what you described.

You can play around with a tire calculator to see how far off it throws your speedo with different sizes. One of my favs I have stuck up on the tool bar. http://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

235/45/17 is probably the closest. Thats the size I run on my evo wheels.
