Need safc help

Well I dont understand the high and low setting on the safc1
What rpms do I set the lows? Reason asking is because for lows the safc goes to 8000rpm. Both high and low read up to 8000rpm?

Also a site told me to rev and keep the engine at the rpm I was tuning at. I dont like the sound of that, keeping my engine reved to 7000rpms

No, you don't rev and keep the engine at the rpm you are tuning at. You hold an rpm to tune the knock setting, and it's like 3,000 rpm.

The high and low is referring to how far down you are pressing the gas pedal. So, the low is what you would set your settings for just cruising around, say, at like 10 - 20%, while the high is what you would set your settings for WFO, say like 80% and above.

Okay thanks, now I understand the high and low
Now if you 2 would be so kind to look at the RRE site(BTW this is where I got the info)
It says for lows I have to HOLD the exact rpm in which I will be tuning? If so what rpms do I hold

Whatever rpm it says. Just go through on your lows and see which ones it has for you to set and whichever one you are at that is the one you need to hold the throttle at while you adjust.
