Dang nice clean 420a chris :thumb:
Morph i am using " de 1604 universal gold "
you can only find it at advance auto parts

Thanks a lot man! I hope you like how yours turns out too, should be nice. I love black and white cars with gold wheels.

And the gold paint I used was just a metallic gold rustoleum I found at WalMart if I'm not mistaken. Lots of prep work with bondo and sanding, 5 coats gold, 5 coats clear (the more clear you cover it with the less bright they end up. The metallic gold started out almost painful to the eyes in sunlight it was so bright, but after lots of clear I was happy with them.)

Thanks man i love the way they came out. Can't wait to put them on. For my rims i kept the job pretty simple, didn't have to do much, just got some 300 grit sandpaper, wet the rim up, sanded the hell out of the rim to cure any uneven surface, sprayed it down again, dried it and sprayed 2 coats. Came out decent and 1 can perfectly covered 2 wheels :thumb:

I'll update you with the pic when i get them on the car.

You don't know the part number do you? They have quite a few metallic gold. They've got one that's insainly shiny and doesnt have any metallic specs to it at all.

Well turns out the toyos i wanted were out of stock but found me another great deal on some good tires. Nexen n3000 w-rated to 168 mph measuring 205/40/16. $60 a tire :rocks:

look good man, get them on the car! $60 is a good deal too, where are you finding these tires? discount tire direct, tire rack, or somewhere else?

Morphorex - sorry man, I just bought like 4 cans of the same gold and threw them away when I was done. No idea what the part number was. But mine didn't have any metallic flakes, it was just a shiney gold.

Thanks guys. Ricky you need to get yo arse over here one day asap LOL.
Chris neither i got them from a warehouse tire shop near my house. Edgeracing.com
