Need opinion on this o2 housing w/ dump

I recently just acquired my evo3 16g and all install parts to get it on, just missing a new exhaust manifold and o2 housing. I'm already set for the exh mani, but my concern now is the o2 housing. I was looking on ebay and came across this o2 that looked quite nice and up for the task. What do you guys think ?

Nothing is wrong i just want to upgrade the o2 and run dumped to help with boost creep for now till i upgrade my fuel system later.
No i do not want to port my turbo out nor my o2.
In other words, i'm trying to piece up everything new before throwing the turbo on with used old parts.

Just port your 2g O2 housing and it will be plenty for an evo3.
I ran one of the ebay o2 housings about 3years ago and it cracked on me after not much usage. They could have improved quality since then, but my firsthand experience is negative.
If you plan on sticking with internal, just keep the 2g housing. If you plan on going external, then get a nice Punishment housing or something you know will last.

I want to go external but keep my internal wastegate, trying to take the affordable route here.

The only problem I see with that small of a turbo and o2 dump is it will open ALL the time. You might get annoyed.

Running an open dump internal housing will not equal the performance of an external setup.

Save your money, port your 2g housing properly as well as some turbine housing and manifold work, and you should have a decent performing internal setup.
There are many threads on porting these components effectively for best performance

I never would have imagined DSM are headaches not only for fixing but for modding as well .

Any tubular o2 housing will help greatly with any turbo. The number one restriction in the exhuast system is the first restriction after the turbo. The stock 1g and 2g o2 housings franky suck for flow. I saw and felt a great increase in torque with the small 16g running an ebay tubular o2 housing. It also does allow you to easily add an external gate down the road if you want. . .

DSMs are easy to mod. Any logical upgrade is an upgrade. The o2 housing is logically restrictive vs. a 2" mandrel bent pipe with the same flanges on it.
