Need new TB or get Rebuild!

Been doing research and I've decided I'm going to rebuild my 2G TB not that i want to I need to it leaks air!! I heard bad things about the BBK TB REALLY bad things anyways I can't seem to find anyone who carries TB Rebuild Kits or just New TB in general. I came accross this website on this forum throttlebodys.com I was wondering if that guys services were good and legit?? I emailed him but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Any adviced or input would be great thanks!!

Their definitely legit. I had my 1g throttle body rebuilt by them and it turned out really nice. I also had him bore it to 63mm and do the half shaft mod. If this is the route you want to go versus buying new I would say these guys are probably one of the better places to send it. If I remeber the only thing was having to pay him through paypal but still worth it. .

Throttlebodys.com does amazing work. (steve monroe is the man!) But i recommend (depending on which throttle body you have) just to block off the ISC, FIAV, and EGR while your at it, clean her real good, get part number #3930 from Napa Auto Parts (or go to extremepsi.com they also carry the seals), and simply rebuild it yourself.

safe your self the time headaches and posibly you messing something up. send it to throuttlebodys.com steve knows what he is doing and you will be amazed at his work i know i still am.

you gata consider its the most hectic month of the year and not just as far as business goes. so you gata give him time to reply back.

as for your TB ... dump that thing and get your self a 1g tb that with the half shaft mod is better than BBK tb IMO and way more reliable. i bought mine for 30 bucks had him rebuild it to be safe and never looked back.
