need help with transfer case

I need to buy a new transfer case, but i dont know if i need a 22 spline or 23 spline. can some one please let me know? I have a 1990 tsi awd 5spd.

Just count the number of splines...pretty simple

If its a factory drivetrain, its 22 spline. Dont go by that though, count them to be safe. My last talon(1990) was setup with a 23 spline x fer/trans. You can always swap the output shaft off the trans to a 23 if thats the x-fer case that you get, very simple swap to do.
