Unfortunately all those electronic gizmos are what alters the base tune to let you run so much boost. It is likely that the Cam Angle Sensor base timing has, or should be modified to compensate timing for having so many gizmos modding the signal to MAF sensor.

If you want to be furious and sometimes fast, you'll need to dig up the instruction manuals for those dinosaurs in your dash. Few, if any, people will still remember how to tune those. Those that do will probably need to be in your car turning knobs to get it just right for a few months out of the year.

If you want it to be just fast, you'll want to get a modern tuning solution including, but not limited to an eprom chip*, ostrich, link, or beyond. Think about what was state of the art back in 2001, and think about what it is like today.

*you can do a lot of good tuning with the AFC and an eprom chip. You can also get a speed density base map burned for you and use the VPC sensors and route them into the MAF harness.

If the only thing it does wrong is lag at 7k, then you may as well leave it how it is. 7k is redline, and I doubt it's going to pull much higher than that with the current parts.
