Need help with sunpro Air fuel

I have looked around Vfaq site one of there links is dead, found the one at roadrace it is helpful. but I have the kick panels off and the ECU out am I just suposed to cut the wires going to the ECU and tie in the new ones. Or is there something else i am missing ? Also I have a wire to hook to my ignition switch can i just disreguard this wire or do i have to tap it into something else ?

Don't cut the wires to your ecu!
Splice the wires coming from the gauge INTO the wires going to your ecu.
The only wires you need to worry about are the ones that are listed in that vfaq I'm almost 100% sure.

Just went to VFAQ site the link is dead, So the wires going into the bottom of my ECU I am suposed to just strip off the casing of the wires and tie the wires comming from the guage to the wires going to the bottom of the ECU ?

Ideally, you'll want to strip the insulation, solder the wires in a junction and wrap the exposed areas tightly and securely with electrical tape.

If you don't have access to a soldering iron and solder, you can use quick splice clips (they sell them at radioshack).

Ohh ok i got ya now just found some splicing clips but i still dont know what to do with this 4th wire it says to go the the ignistion switch some where but from what i read you dont need it if you dont want your gauge ot turn on when you put the key in?? any ideas

Where are you seeing this? I'm not seeing that under RRE's instructions.

what you can do is probe a tester light into the wire pack(connector) under the dash and turn your switch on and off till you find a positive wire(so connect tester to positive side of battery)that turns on when you turn the key on.peace.
