need help with stock boost set up!

so just did a 6 bolt swap on my 97 gst, the stock turbo was at 15 psi and i now i set it up with a vacum "T". i have a vacum line comming off the BOV to the "T", from the intake manifold to the "T" and the last part of the "T" runs to the wastegate. and the turbo vacum line is plugged off, i dont know why but the BOV isn't releasing the pressure, not sure exactly if the turbo is spooling either, dont think it is, anyone know whats going on with this?

well, In that setup you will only be around 8psi, so you may not "hear" the bov and it will feel much slower than 15psi.

you would need to run back through the boost control solonoid to get back the boost.

You SHOULD NOT have anything T'd off into your bov line. Intake to BOV and different pressure source to wastegate.

^^ What he said. There should be a single dedicated line from the bov to the manifold.

You SHOULD NOT have anything T'd off into your bov line. Intake to BOV and different pressure source to wastegate.

This appears to be what the OP was trying to do minus the BC. I would not recommend hooking the wasgate up like this. On the 1G, there is a nipple right on the j-pipe coming from the turbo thatyou can run a hose directly from right to the wastegate.

is there a stock MBC on a 97 gst? if so WHERE!!! oh and i dont know if this is needed but i have a 6 bolt swap with a stock 2g turbo and wastegate, and a RFL BOV not reserculated

I belive its a solenoid black circular and about 1 inch long.

For a lack of mods listed in your profile, I sure hope that you have a blow through setup after the BOV if it is vented. If not, you will need to recirculate that back to the intake pipe as it will likely cause you future problems.
