Hey so recently I bought my first car and it being one of my dream cars a 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T Spyder, anyways it’s a bit of a project car which is fine but it’s throwing two codes still. Unfortunately I forgot what they are exactly but I know what parts I need to replace. The codes were for the Coolant Temp Sensor Circuit which is the top picture and Gas Pressure Solenoid which is the bottom picture.

I found that the Gas Pressure Module I need is discontinued, but so far I haven’t found anything on the coolant sensor circuit bit.

Also what would the valve guide seal sizes be for the stock engine 4g63 because I also will most likely replace those. Any help is appreciated thank you!

This (yellow circle) is the sensor for the ECU coolant temperature reading, part number MD182467 (superseded by MD177572). Should be able to cross reference those at auto parts stores and still get replacements.

What you have circled (in red) is the sensor for the dash temperature gauge, part number MD091056.

The part in picture 2 is more formally the fuel pressure solenoid. It is part number MD113721. I think you’re correct on it being discontinued so best bet is to find a used one or consider an emissions (vacuum line) reduction or delete.

The problem with the vac line delete is the ecu will still be looking for this solenoid. Check the harness for continuity also.

Thank you so much I had trouble identifying the blue piece, I did however replace the coolant temp sensor you circled when i first got it since the temp wasn’t reading but after i replaced it, it now reads, also do you know the size of valve guide seal gaskets for the stock gst engine and last question would be if you know the cons of a vacuum line delete. Thank you

I used the solenoid in this thread to get rid of the CEL for the malfunctioning fuel pressure solenoid. I basically clipped off the connector and used spade terminals.

the fuel pressure solenoid is a hard to find part, you can buy them new on ebay just make sure the seller is in the united states, if the seller is in japan there are imports customs and duty fees on top of the shipping price. heres a link to one in kentucky

miller import parts on facebook is a dsm junk yard and sells used parts, it may be easier to buy used ones from him
