So I just got a AWD 95 talon. It wasn't running when I bought it and just got it going. Well I lost clutch fluid and the pedal never returned. Okay seemed simple to me...Slave cylinder, well I bought one and its not the part that's leaking fluid. The part that I need it a cylinder before the slave. There is two s.s lines going in to it and it is bolted to the front of my transmission. There are no moving parts, no plunger or anything like that. The lines look pretty rusty in that area but it is that cylinder that is currently leaking. I hate going to the parts store with a part in my hand because those guys rarely help. I'm in the process of doing some work to my gst so I'm not in a huge hurry to fix this. I'm am however strapped for time and have already spend a hr searching for the name of this part.

I am going to give it a GUESS after my searching because the info I found seemed vague to say the least....
Slave cylinder accumulator? I ask because when I search for a eclipse gsx slave cylinder accumulator I come up empty handed. Could you guys please let me know before I drive 45min one way to the parts store. Thanks

That's a part that you can replace with the half braided clutch line, and it will also let you shift faster as that accumulator slows flow ever so slightly, just remember don't buy the full clutch line unless you want to replace the whole clutch line. Gl and don't forget to bleed it properly

Where might I find that? Hopefully some place like pep boys...?

Mitsubishi calls it the "clutch fluid chamber" but I doubt you'll find it at auto stores. It just makes the clutch pedal have a smoother (and slightly slower) release. But as Tiki2777 said, you don't need it and can replace it with a half braided clutch line (it just won't be as smooth a release).
