Ok so I am completely new with the Link and do not have much knowledge on it. Ive been trying to read up on it but still isnt really sinking in for me for some reason. I bought the car with Link 2.5. Today I went for a drive and not long down the road my CEL came on and the car started to to shutter at lower rpms and just didnt feel like it really wanted to move, almost felt like it was sucking air or something somewhere also my vacuum pressure, which normal sits at about 20-21 at idle now is sitting around 17-18 and started at soon as this problem did, anyway I limped home and figured I would see if I could pull the codes and try to find out whats up. So I plugged it in to my computer turned the key to on and started link. Every time I hit capture to try to make the connection I get the Command Time Out message. I have the db9 to usb adapter. I tried searching and although I found threads on this topic it was kind of going over my head so I was wondering if anyone could give me any help in a bit more simplified way. Or if anyone lives near the Hershey/Harrisburg area could help me out LOL. I need to figure out whats going on because I cant drive the car with what its doing. Its been running fine the past couple days and this just happened out of the blue today.

Since you got a CEL, I would start with finding out what code was thrown. The code will probably give you a big clue as to what happened. Also, the symptoms might be consistent with a boost leak. Check that you didnt have a coupler blow off.
