So before everyone gets on me and tells me to search for this before i post i have searched numerous threads and yes ive found how to use link but i still cant figure out how to completely tune. My main issue is finding out what my global deadtime and global should be set at. i have a stock 6 bolt in my 2g with a 20g turbo and 660 precision injectors. If anyone could tell me what i can use to get this thing to stop cutting out i would really appreciate it. THANKS!

You should email dsmlink with that question, they've always answered my questions quickly! Who better to ask then the creator's?

Start at -31 for global and 180 for deadtime. Wait till its at operating temp past 183 degrees to adjust fuel trims.

I'm in the same boat as you honestly what's posted on the wiki is just a ballpark estimate it's not actually precise at least not with my experience try to get as close as you can to the recommended Global and deadtime, suggested for your injectors, but you may have to add or sub, to get the desired results.

no problem. I see you're only in dubuque. I'm in Cedar Falls. If you get desperate enough I could attempt to do a full tune for you if you wanted to make the trip. I don't pretend to be a professional though. I only ever have tuned my own junk and I'm no master of it, just good enough to make it work.
Are you on a stock 2g MAF or speed density or GM MAF?
If you want me to do a basemap, when you get it running send me a log file along with every mod you have and how much boost you are currently running. Also try to be sure you have no boost leaks or any other mechanical issues as it can screw up the tuning process a lot.

Thanks again means a lot. and yea the motor i just pulled out was built. eagle rods/ wiseco pistons and it only had 15k on it and 12k out of it tuned on an safc2 which im no nube to. but when i put link in it i could only get it to pull like a raped ape in 1st gear. 2nd would cut out at like 6700 rpm and you couldnt even hit boost in 3rd (it was that bad) but for the motor going in right now it is a stock 6 bolt top to bottom. stock 2g maf. running about 20 pounds of boost. i just wired in a PLX wideband and got rid of the xmas tree one the car came with so now we have some legit a/f ratios going LOL.
