Need help with GM maf

I got a gm maf got it on installed and ready to go on my 98 tsi. I need to hook up the RPM wire on for the translator. I don't want to run all the way to the ecu right now so my question is where can I tap into under the hood for the RPM signal?

Fallow the wire from the ecu to were it goes into the engine bay and find a good spot to tie into is the best i can tell you.
