need help with FPR

Ok, just put in 550cc a week ago and tonite just finish with the Aeromotive. After installed, the car idles like crap,,,..200rpm then dies at shift. The gauge reads 42-43 psi and some time moves up and down, not at constantly at 43. I press open the throttle alittle and it jumps to 46psi.

Heres how I install it. Left thread line to fuel rail fitting and block right hole. Bottom fitting boltted to the fuel line that took off from the stock FPR and also the vacuum line of course.

Does this seem right.

it may not stay DEAD on 43 base - +/- 1 psi is fine. when ya push the gas it should raise the presure about 1 psi for each +1 psi of boost.

so this means that everything is hooked up right. Why is my idle so bad? My SAFC2 indicated total knk of 53 at one time and 12 knk at idle.

Did you set base fuel pressure with the vaccumm line disconnected? The knock reading on the safc 2 is worthless...

No i didn't. I'll try to do that today. So the knk count on SAFC2 are worthless, wooo. Glad to here that, because I was starting to get scared. I just install so much things to my car and not once try to drive it hard. I haven't seem my t3/t4 at 19 pounds yet.

I unplugged the vacuum line and the base raised to 50 psi. I turned down all the way and it will not go below 45 psi. Is this usual FPR to do this. I do have a 255 pump.

I am so done with this turbo. My 14b should be in some how this week and I will be taking out the t3/t4. I don't seem to know how to work with this bigger turbo and seriously don't want to blow my motor.
