1G need help with coolant turbo line

So I'm putting everything back together and need a question answered before I can finish her up... when installing the manifold and turbo assembly, is the coolant line from the thermostat to the rear of the turbo supposed to be touching the water pipe??

where the mounting bracket to the turbo is, is where its against the water pipe.

Its okay there. When I had my 16g on my eclipse, it had the same issue. I just bent the hose slightly and carefully and no issues. Finish her up and start boosting . make sure you do the other upgrades to support more fuel for the air coming in.

So I can leave it resting against each other? or I should make space between them?

no upgrades at the moment, got the car with a cracked mani and cracked turbo housing, got a new mani and another rebuilt 14b, just wanna finish her up and have some fun before modding
