need help with 4g32 head

alright guys iv got a 93 Eagle talon DL with the 1.8L and im having some head work done do to a head gasket going bad. well when i took the head off i noticed pitting around were the metal ring in the gasket sits on the head( reason why it went bad). I Took it to the shop to have it milled down, well its to deep to mill so hes going have it welded and then mill it(with in specs that is) but he told me they make a multi layer metal gasket that i can use so it does not have to be welded . alls he will have to do is mill it a lil and the gasket will do the rest so my question is do any one of you know were i can find on and if you can give me a link to it iv tried all the top names in this type of gasket and no one has one for this car or motor. Just have the pits welded and the head surfaced.

What you are looking for is called a head shaver shim, it goes on along with the HG.

Most commonly found head shaver shims are made by felpro.

ok yeah i just got off the phone with the shop and im just going to get it welded and shaved but thank you for letting know what the name for that and once its all done ill have pics up
